STUDENT SERVICES

Students can now register online. The system will only be open on designated enrolment and load revision dates (see Academic Calendar).

Document Requests

Current students and alumni can request for various services and information from the Student Services Office, which include among others, registration and account-related inquiries, filing for leaves of absence, withdrawal and residency, document and certification requests, student clearances, and use of facilities and equipment.

Student Services and Academics Forms are also available to download in the appropriate section below.

All document requests must be made in writing. Documents that can be requested via this online facility, among others, are: official transcript of records, diploma, copy/certificate of grades, and different certifications which may be needed by undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni.

The processing time for document requests is 5-7 working days. Same day processing is not available. Applicable fees must first be paid in order for any document request to be processed.

Instructions and reminders:
(1) Download the applicable form/s. Forms are in PDF format. Please check the paper size before printing.
(2) Fill in the form/s with the required information.
(3) Submit the application/form to the Student Services Office.
(4) Pay the assessed fees, if any.
(5) Please make sure you are cleared of your financial and academic obligations for applications that require student clearance,
(6) Refer to the published Academic Calendar for filing deadlines.

Leave of Absence (LOA)

Students are expected to enroll every term until they complete their program, unless they withdraw from or are deemed ineligible to continue at the institution due to academic or disciplinary deficiencies. When a student does not plan to enroll for a particular term, the student must apply for an official leave of absence (LOA). Student clearance is included in the form. Academic Residency

The Academic Residency is intended for students who have no other course to enroll in their program but need to enter the campus for consultation with faculty members, i.e. thesis completion. It is important to note that a student who does not intend to enroll for a specific term for whatever reason, but still has remaining units to enroll, should file for a Leave of Absence (LOA) instead. Grade Completion

A student receiving an “INC” or Incomplete grade will to complete his requirements and submit the duly signed Grade Completion form by the end of the immediately succeeding term. (See Student Handbook v.062011: Academic Affairs/Academic Standards/Appealing and Revision of Final Grades)

Defer Exam

Those who are unable to take the final exam for reasons deemed valid by the Academics may be allowed to take the final exam at a future point in time. To do so, students need to file for request for deferred exam and settle pertinent fees no later than three (3) days after the specific exam schedule. Students with approved request will initially be given an INC grade. (See Student Handbook v.062011: Academic Affairs/Academic Standards/Appealing and Revision of Final Grades)

Change of Program/Shifting

Any student who wishes to change his program or shift to another course must file for such and is subject to Academics Director’s approval. (See Student Handbook v.062011: Academic Affairs/Academic Procedures/Changing Programs)

Notice of Withdrawal (NOW)

A student wishing to discontinue studies at Thames International/Entrepreneurs School of Asia should immediately notify the school and officially apply for withdrawal.
