Thames International/Entrepreneurs School of Asia

20th Anniversary Celebration Kick-off Party

Thames/ Entrepreneurs School of Asia is the country’s first international college and will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary next year. To jumpstart the yearlong celebration, a party was held on campus last June 13, 2018. Dubbed RenaiXXance, it was the perfect opportunity to relaunch the school to the community as Thames International.

RenaiXXance brought home alumni across several batches and the night was filled with joy and laughter despite the heavy monsoon rains that evening. The alumni were in awe as they entered the campus. Current and former lecturers welcomed the students as they all reminisced the good old days.

Undoubtedly, current students had a great time as well as they mingled with their professors and the alumni. Performances from current students further invigorated the party as Erika Garcia, Jhessa Lecias, and Charles Claro awed everyone with their individual song performances. Charles did an amazing cover of Bamboo’s “Noypi”. The alumni did not let the evening pass without fielding their own talents. First to perform was Tricia Songco, who shared her lovely voice with the Thames community. This was followed by John Blaylock and his band Fire Fall Down with their electrifying set. Next was Mark Carpio who made the rainy evening feel more romantic with his songs. He had a chance to sing his most popular piece “Hiling”, which currently has 30 million views online.

Thames President Mr. Joel Santos then welcomed and thanked everyone for coming to celebrate with the school. The night was capped with another revitalizing performance from graduating student and professional DJ, Benjie Lim, who provided the music for everybody to dance the night away. The Renaixxance party was indeed a great way to kick-off the 20th Anniversary celebration and is just the start of more exciting things to come.

Special thanks to the following:
